The Seattle United Daughters of the Confederacy Robert E. Lee Chapter #885 was chartered March 21, 1905.   At that time, many members were real daughters and wives of Confederate Veterans.   The Robert E. Lee Chapter of Seattle celebrated their Centennial Anniversary with a ball held in the Wilsonian Ball Room on University Avenue on March 12, 2005.
