The Seattle United Daughters of the Confederacy Robert E. Lee Chapter #885
was chartered March 21, 1905. At that time, many members were real
daughters and wives of Confederate Veterans. The Robert E. Lee
Chapter of Seattle celebrated their Centennial Anniversary with a ball held in
the Wilsonian Ball Room on University Avenue on March 12, 2005.
